Community Walk
Students explored the surrounding streets with the support from teachers and volunteers. They identified a number of features that help our community run smoothly and safely. From bridges to sewers, traffic lights to fire trucks, the students compiled an impressive list of observations. These were then discussed in further detail in the classroom in regards to wants versus needs.
As a whole, we feel very fortunate to live in a community that has so many fantastic services and opportunities.

This year we are planning to look at current affairs and events locally, nationally and internationally. We encourage students and parents to keep an eye out for interesting articles and stories that can be shared with the students in the classroom. Please send email links or bring in hard copies when possible.
